Investigating Sexual Assault Involving College Students: 

Building Collaboration Between Law Enforcement

and Title IX Professionals

This free training is presented through the EVAW Project and hosted by Fort Lewis College.

This training will strengthen the capacity of law enforcement, campus safety, administrators and community partners working with sexual assault victims, and will address best practices of sexual assault investigations with a Colorado-specific lens of serving college students who may also be pursuing a Title IX investigation.

Auto Theft  Investigation Course

The Colorado Auto Theft Investigator Association is hosting a two-day basic and advanced auto theft investigation course at the Durango Community Recreation Center. This course is tailored to investigators and patrol officers who respond to and/or investigate auto theft and propertyrelated crimes.

Objectives: Provide patrol officers and investigators a thorough understanding of the Vehicle Identification Number to assist with their knowledge base when investigating motor vehiclerelated crimes. Provide the investigator/CSI a clear understanding of what is needed when processing a recovered stolen vehicle to file and prosecute a successful case. Discuss law enforcement databases available, such as Carfax, ISO, along with others. Acid restoration and investigation scenarios will also be included.
